2018 was my first summer photographing wildlife. During that summer I was working as a buildings and grounds worker at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds in Fryeburg, Maine. During the summer, it is really peaceful with a surprise amount of wildlife to be found! On one partly cloudy day at the fairgrounds, I was informed by my supervisor that there was a fawn out behind the fairgrounds. I walked out behind the fairgrounds and found the fawn sitting peacefully at the base of a pine tree. I knelt down slowly and raised my little canon camera up and took this shot. It was one of my first successful wildlife photographs in regards to depth of field and composition. I understand that I could have zoomed out a little bit but I still consider it to be a good shot.
