When I was younger, I remember seeing a pair of binoculars made by Simmons that were for sale at Walmart. These binoculars could take digital images! I can't remember if my father bought it for me or if I did but I remember that being able to photograph something and hold on to the image was exciting for me! I took this unique pair of binoculars wherever I went. I went on a trip to Portland, Maine and photographed an oil tanker that was across the harbor from me. I would visit my friends farm in Center Fryeburg, Maine and use these binoculars to photograph their Shire horses. By just using these camera binoculars, it would eventually lead me to my passion for photography. I eventually wanted a regular digital camera but looking back, I wish that I had these binoculars still.
